The unassuming stairs leading to the rooms behind the elevated mini reception desk made me feel like I was stepping into a secret culinary haven. While checking in, I was handed a banana, a quirky touch that hinted at the delightful culinary journey awaiting me.The hostel's common guest area exuded a sense of community, inviting guests to enjoy their own food and drinks as they mingled. This concept of connecting travelers through gastronomical experiences resonated with me deeply, reflecting the German appreciation for hearty meals shared with new friends.In the vicinity, the plethora of high-end wineries, tap bars, and restaurants further emphasized King Kong's dedication to culinary innovation.
